This release is about doing things in bulk: users and devices can be organized into groups and authorized in a single step, and devices can be created en masse from a spreadsheet. Recording quality and storage can now also be traded off to suit your needs.

New Features

• Group-based bulk authorization: Organize users into user groups and devices into device groups, then pair the two groups to grant access in a single step instead of configuring every user-device combination by hand. Access periods, daily time windows and sign-in options are configured once and applied to the whole group.
• Group changes propagate automatically: When a member joins or leaves a group — or is moved over from another group — the corresponding device access is created or revoked automatically. Changing the conditions on a group grant updates every access it produced.
• Visibility into grants that were not applied: If a user already has a manually created grant for a device, or the authentication method does not match, the group grant page lists those pairs and the reason, with links to resolve each one.
• Group-derived grants are protected: These grants show their source group in the access list and cannot be edited or deleted individually, keeping them consistent with the group settings. The access list also gained a “manually created / group-derived” filter.
• Bulk device import from a spreadsheet: Download an import template from the device list, fill it in and upload it to create many devices at once, with results reported as the import runs. Every column in the template carries an inline note explaining how to fill it. The user export file now matches the import format as well — add passwords and it can be loaded straight back in.
• Table view for the device list: When managing large numbers of devices you can switch to a dense table layout. Card or table can be set per role, and the number of rows per page is configurable in global settings.
• Adjustable recording quality: Global settings now offer three recording quality levels (high quality / balanced / space saving), so you can trade image quality against storage. The default is now “balanced”, which is visually almost indistinguishable from the previous setting on remote desktop content while producing noticeably smaller files.
• Smaller recording files: Raw recordings are now stored compressed, saving roughly 40% of space in real-world measurements, with no impact on playback or conversion. Existing recordings can also be re-encoded by an administrator using the new quality setting.
• Resolution is now a dropdown: The recording resolution in global settings offers the common standard resolutions (1280x720 through 3840x2160) for direct selection, or can be switched to custom entry with format validation, so a typo no longer causes recording conversion to fail silently.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed the device list action menu jumping to the top-right of the page. Actions are now four icon buttons — connect, view, edit and delete — and long remarks are truncated with the full text shown on hover.
• Fixed the recording resolution in global settings showing the default value instead of the value actually configured.
• Fixed an error when saving an invalid recording resolution; the form now reports clearly that the format is incorrect.
• Fixed the license endpoint reporting success when no license has been configured; it now reports that no license was found.
